  After over 10 years camping here at Powlett, never causing trouble or making noise, today we were yelled at, abused and kicked out solely because we complained about a 4 foot long, ejaculating, phallic symbol etched into the concrete outside the toilet block. Clearly weathered, yet he accused us of doing it. We could have complained about the broken toilet and broken urinal, etc but we made do with that. But no, instead of just cleaning the obscene graffiti off he chose to attack us instead. I'd even offered to do it!

  Facilities are old but adequate,we have our own in our van and use them anyway,so that doesn’t bother us.

  3 sites packed up and left 2 days into a 9 day holiday :( Owner loaths casuals, doesn't want them there as it means more work for him. Says they can get stuffed. For example instead of putting a fire extinguisher in the laundry as required by his insurance, he locks the door and said the f#$%ers can take their washing home!

  Very easy going owner who is happy to let us park anywhere if park is not crowded,always been friendly to us.
